Description: Santa Monica Public Library Image Archives. A65 Digital object 0645 img0065 The La Monica Ballroom, designed by T.H. Eslick, opened July 23, 1924 with a 15,000 square foot dance floor. The Ballroom was closed in July 1962 and demolished six months later.
