Cactus growing from a heart, Long Beach, 1990, California national Guard 7th Street Armory, 845 East 7th Street (near Alamitos Avenue). The mural shows a cactus growing from a heart and reaching toward the sky, by Celia Ko and Alessandra Moctezuma. Just around the corner of the wall is a bigger mural called "Oil, life and ecology" by Eva Cockcroft -- Dunitz, Street gallery, rev. 2nd ed., p. 1260, #35.
