Photograph of the town of Genoa, Nevada, [s.d.]. There is a single row of four buildings at the center of the image. The building on the right has a peaked roof, two stories and a covered porch the other three are rectangular buildings. Once a route for the Pony Express, Genoa is the oldest permanent settlement in Nevada. Legible signs include, from right, "Provisions & Grocery Store Coffee Sugar Tea[...]Flour, Grain [...]", "General Merchandise Paints Oils Turpentine & Varnish", and "Tahoe Beer". Genoa, on the west side of Nevada, was on the Pony Express Route.
