Caitlin Rother discusses her book, “Dead Reckoning.” She begins by explaining that her book is a case study about a murder in California. She talks about how Skylar Deleon killed Thomas and Jackie Hawks by throwing them off their yacht and tying their bodies to anchors. She describes how she met with Deleon in the Orange County Prison and attended his murder trials. She talks about how Deleon was finally named as a suspect after the Hawks’ were reported missing. Rother discusses the 4 other accomplices that Deleon used in the murder. She ends the interview by talking about other murder case studies she has worked on.
