Photograph of the memorial window to Dr Elmslie located in Ekwendeni Church. The photograph is taken from the interior of the church. Walter Angus Elmslie (1856-1935) was the author of "Among the wild Ngoni, some chapters in the history of the Livingstonia mission in British Central Africa" (New York, 1899). Ekwendeni, which is in the northern region of Malawi, was started by Scottish missionaries and has one of the oldest churches in Malawi.
