Description: Four views of the Barney Ross-Henry Armstrong fight held at the Long Island Bowl, in New York. View 1: Ross (left) covers from Armstrong's left. View 2: Armstrong's left connects with the left side of Ross' face. Unnumbered view: almost the same view as number 2, which shows Armstrong's left connecting with Ross' face. View 3: Armstrong throws a right punch for good measure. Armstrong's relentless attack gave Ross the worst beating he ever took in the ring. Photo dated: June 1, 1938.
