Photograph of a Sioux Indian medicine man killed at the Wounded Knee Battle on January 1, 1891. The dead man can be seen laying on his back with his arms above his head. He is wearing pants and a long sleeved shirt, and appears to be laying on other corpses. What appears to be a rifle can be seen to the right of him. At least two other bodies are visible in the background.
