Description
Pictured are clerk typist Mrs. Catherine Zimmerman and librarian Mrs. Marion Duane, children's librarian at the Los Angeles Public Library Traveling Branch. The bookmobile service, with headquarters in North Hollywood, is set up as a community service by the Los Angeles Public Library. It makes 17 weekly stops in the Valley, which vary in length from 45 minutes to two hours.; See images #00131229 through #00131232 for all photos in this series.
