Photograph caption dated June 11, 1955 reads "Jim Erbes, right, holds the replica of the big trophy which he won as the most inspirational track athlete at North Hollywood High School, presented by the Cross Roads Department of the First Presbyterian Church, North Hollywood, as sponsor. Joseph F. Vanagas, director of week-day activities, is shown with the perpetual trophy, a replica of which went to Erbes."
