Description
The First Christian Church at 3901 Folsom Boulevard is the subject of this 1982 postcard. The Disciples of Christ claim over 800,000 members in about 3800 congregations throughout the United States and Canada and have roots in Sacramento dating back to 1855. This structure is located in East Sacramento on the former site of a private residence sold in the mid-1950s and razed to make way for the church that was open for worship by 1957.
