Description
Photograph of a view of an unidentified dirt road in Coulterville, ca.1930. The wide dirt road wends from the center foreground into the background where a tree-dappled hill can be seen. Spaced irregularly to either side of the road, small buildings can be seen, suggestive of a boomtown. To the right, a one-story brick building has its doors partially boarded-up. Farther in to the left, a building that appears to be a stable or blacksmith's shop can be seen, while the tallest building is visible to the right, a saloon-style facade attached to its front. Just near this, two parked automobiles can be seen.
