Map includes French translation of a letter written by Captain Franklin, 7 Sept. 1825 describing his overland journey to this area. Kashnor notes, "The Franklin Letter is taken from the British Review." Also shows vertical boundary labeled "Limite Fixée en 1825" [between British and Russian claims.] Rosenthal identifies author as Vandermaelen. Manasek notes Brussels as publication location.
