Description
Considered one of the world's premier water skiing facilities, Marine Stadium is located on Appian Way between Second and Colorado, in Long Beach. This was the site for the 1968 Olympic rowing trials and the 1993 Olympic Rowing competition. More recently, it was also the site for the 2004 and the 2006 X Games. Marine Stadium was recently designated as an official state historic site. Although not the typical stadium, bleachers are visible on the right.
