Description
A group poses for a photo after the removal of the 1950 Lancaster Library dedication plaque from the Fig Avenue location. The Library moved to a new location that year on Kingtree Avenue and Avenue J. On back of photo (people are listed from left to right): "#27203, 1964, Cecil Turner, Melvin McCartney, Don Abel, Jim Jackson, John Dermody, Joseph M. Pollard, Lancaster Library". The Lancaster Library was also known as the Antelope Valley Regional Library.
