Photograph caption dated September 9, 1959 reads, "UNICEF Greeting Cards Available. Albertine Stone, right, is impressed by design on Unicef greeting cards displayed by Mrs. Ethel Averbach, who operates Valley headquarters for cards at 5861 Varna Ave., Van Nuys. Unicef, which stands for United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund, is set up in 105 countries and provides help for mothers and children through feeding plans, nutrition education or disease control. Cards may be purchased at Van Nuys headquarters. Additional information is available at STate 0-2382."
