"In November, the Sodalists began mounting medals on Christmas cards and also collected rosaries, scapulars and holy cards which they intended to give Father Odlum for his Navy boys for Christmas. It was lucky they had an early start for shortly after the December 7th blitz the Sodalists rushed the medals, rosaries, etc. to the Pearl Harbor Naval Hospital.
