Description
Photograph of the Cliff Dwellers' float for Los Angeles' La Fiesta Parade, ca.1894. Four horses draped in white cloth with holes cut out for their eyes pull a large cart, on top of which a model of stone dwelling places has been built. Three men in white robes, two of them with hoods, stand in front of the float. The remaining man wears a regular hat. They are situated on a patch of grass in front of a picket fence. A sign is partially visible in the left background.
