Description
This photograph circa 1935 is of the one-time Sutterville Brewery situated on the south side of Sutterville Rd. opposite of Land Park Zoo. R.H. Vance constructed the red brick building in 1853 for the price of $27,000, the structure is famously remembered as a brewery operating from 1864-1884. Purchased by Mrs. Louise Heilbron for $2,500, the place functions as a night club for the Sutterville Country Club and as a warehouse both under the direction of the Sutterville Improvement Association.
