"Chronicle" written on photo above Chronicle Building. Text written under photo: "Kearny St. looking from Post St. 1908." View looks south toward Third and Market. The Chronicle Building and its addition loom up on the left. The Call Building can partially be seen in the distance to the right. Construction is going on in the foreground and in the next block, as evidenced by the scaffolding and bins full of bricks. The rails of United Railroads' Third and Kearny line are visible.
