Description
This is a letter written by M. E. Salveson for Mel Hurni commenting on a different letter written by Peter Drucker to Harold Smiddy on September 30. Salveson emphasizes that as they make progress in Operations Research and Synthesis, credit must still be given to those ideas that came before and were building blocks, or the confluence of "tributaries" into the "main stream".
