Elias Rodgriguez Aparicio( photo donor's father) and his son Mike Aparicio (photo donor's brother) are standing next to the statuette of Guadalupe that Elias made and painted for the Columban Sisters of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (on Hammel Street). The photograph was taken in the back area of the church's grounds in City Terrace, an area of East Los Angeles. This image was provided by Vibiana Aparicio-Chamberlin for inclusion in the Foto East LA collection.
