Description
10 Laurel St. The first photo shows the front of a large shingle home with a wrap-around covered porch and a center gable over the front door. The front door has a large square window inthe uppper half, vertical window panels on either side and an arch window over the top of the three sections. The trim on the grey house is white, with turned ballustrades on the porch railings, round columns supporting the porch roof and a small, multi-paned window next to the wide entry stairs on the ground level. In photo 160a the vantage is from below on the street, looking up at the corner of the house. Looking through the trunks of several Redwood trees a French door from the garden to the lower floor is seen, with stonework on either side and a continuation of the decorative porch railing extends out to the left, perhaps over a garage or office. There is new landscaping of low shrubs and ferns under the Redwoods and smaller boulders placed along the road. Notation on the photo reads, "New on emply lot, corner of Cascade and Laurel. Home and office built by owner."
