Description
Copy print of the special trains of both the Central Pacific and Union Pacific as they met at Promontory, Utah on May 10, 1869 to view the driving of the last spike connecting the two lines. This image is from the opposite side of the railcars where the ceremony was taking place. Leland Stanford's train is on the right pulled by the locomotive, "Jupiter" From an Alfred Hart stereo card.
