Exterior view of Rancho Romulo Adobe. The two-story structure is in the middle of a 4.2 acre site at 10940 Sepulveda Boulevard. Fate of the adobe home was under discussion by the North Valley YMCA and the San Fernando Valley Historical Society. The YMCA will sell about half of its property to raise part of the funds needed to build a new facility on the east part of the land. Culminating several months of discussion, the latest proposal is for the YMCA to give the adobe to the Society and sell to that group the land on which it rests. If the Society does not raise funds to consummate the sale, the YMCA will have to put the land and adobe on the open market. The YMCA will make every effort to find a buyer who will preserve the adobe. Photo dated August 6, 1965.
