Photograph was edited for publication purposes.
Photograph caption dated November 28, 1931 reads, "Miss Pringle is comforted by her mother, Mrs. Lou Irene Pringle, school teacher and her best friend, through ordeals of Pantages' two trials. 'I have lost many illusions in the past two years,' says Miss Pringle, but I don't see how a jury, many of them mothers and fathers, could do such a thing to a 19-year-old girl.'" Pantages was found not guilty in the second trial.
