Joe DiMaggio and Marilyn Monroe, returning to L.A. from the set of the "Seven Year Itch." Earlier that week, Monroe had posed for photographers while standing on a New York City subway grating, her white dress a-flutter around her hips. DiMaggio witnessed the scene and became furious. Shortly after this photo was taken, Monroe filed for divorce.
