The murder of William Desmond Taylor brought more grief into Miss Minter's life. Then she and her mother became reconciled, as pictured, and live in Paris."; Third photograph caption dated December 23, 1929 reads, "Mrs. Charlotte Shelby, right, mother of Mary Miles Minter, today demanded exoneration by the district attorney of any complicity in the death of William Desmond Taylor seven years ago.
