Description
Postcard view looking south down Gatos Creek Canyon just south of the town of Los Gatos. To the right of the creek is the railroad line through the Santa Cruz Mountains. Two people are walking on the railroad tracks, which was a common method of reaching some of the small towns in the mountains served by the railroad. Above the tracks and to the right are a line of telephone poles following the dirt road through the mountains. On the far left hugging the hillside is part of the wooden flume system that brought water from a dam in the mountains into Los Gatos.
