Four men pose with a young Boy Scout in uniform to publicize the Boy Scout Rose Bowl Circus to take place on May 21. The image was taken on the field at the Rose Bowl Stadium on April 2, 1955, and was ordered by John Hoel, possibly of the John D. Hoel Advertising Agency in Monrovia. The Boy Scouts of America (San Gabriel Valley Council) was headquartered at 939 East Union Street.
