Photograph caption dated September 14, 1963 reads, "Michael L. Elliot, left, and Miss Frances Martin look over the helipod, a new Valley contribution to aviation." Michael L. Elliot is the president and general manager of Meta-Glas Inc, in Burbank CA. He invented the 'Helipod' with his partner Joseph Asher.
