A plant belonging to American Vitrified Products Co., a manufacturer of clay sewer pipes, is seen in the center and is bordered on the north by Central Aveue. Andres Duarte Elementary, visible at right, is located at 1433 Crestfield Drive; architects of the school are Allison and Rible. Post-war homes surround the plant on the right, and the San Gabriel Mountains are partially visible in the background. Photograph dated February 26, 1958.
