V1p287a -- v1p287b -- v1p287c. In PHOTO ALBUM-VAULT: ** fc917.9461 A3, Vol. I, page 287 top, center and bottom. These photographs are contained in one of two volumes by Dobbin titled "Album of San Francisco." Three views of the Native Sons' Parade on Admission Day 1917. All three views look northeast on Market but were taken from different locations. Page 287 top, labeled "Native Sons Parade Admission Day 1917." underneath and "Market opposite Marshall Square" to the right, shows a regiment, dressed in white and led by three women with parasols, passing Marshall Square. The old Hall of Records can be seen to the left. A sign on the right urges people to enlist in the U.S. Army. Page 287 center, labeled "Admission Day Parade 1917" underneath and "La Estrella Parlor N.D.G.W. [with arrow]" on the left, shows the women of the La Estrella Parlor marching past the Douglass Building at Powell and Market. The Flood Building is visible just beyond. Page 287 bottom, labeled "Parade Admission Day 1917" underneath and "On Market between Mason & Taylor Street" on the left, shows an Army regiment marching westward on Market with a crowd of spectators watching.
