The Bendix Corporation was an American manufacturing and engineering company which made automotive brake shoes and systems, aircraft brakes, aeronautical hydraulics and electric power systems, avionics, aircraft and automobile fuel control systems, radios, televisions and computers. The company was in operation from 1924-1983, when it was taken over by Honeywell International, Inc.
