The Bendix Corporation was an American manufacturing and engineering company which made automotive brake shoes and systems, aircraft brakes, aeronautical hydraulics and electric power systems, avionics, aircraft and automobile fuel control systems, radios, televisions and computers. The company was in operation from 1924-1983, when it was taken over by Honeywell International, Inc.
Photograph caption dated June 29, 1959 reads "Jerry Maybrook, third from left, treasurer of Future Engineer's Club at Cleveland High School, is among students honored at dinner which was sponsored by Management Club of Bendix Aviation Corp.'s Bendix-Pacific Division at Sportsmen's Lodge. From left are Gerald Speen, of International Telephone and Telegraph Laboratories, professional president of FEA's Valley Council; David H. Brown, assistant general manager, Bendix-Pacific; Maybrook, Max Hunter of Douglas Aircraft, speaker; Ralph Lamm, Bendix-Pacific, and John Good, president of Bendix Management Club."
