Description: This image shows George Durfey, holding a slide rule, perched on a piece Stanford's 150-foot Radio Telescope when it was under construction. The "Big Dish," built in a joint venture of Stanford University, Stanford Research Institute and the Air Force, was completed in 1962. This image was signed by George Durfey in 2005.
