Description
Photograph shows two men on a meter gauge engine, built by H. K. Porter Company, used in Big Chico Creek Canyon by the Sierra Lumber Company. Man in cab is Charles F. Marion, who worked for Sierra Lumber Company from 1879-1907, and then with Diamond Match Company until 1914. Man on gangway is his son , Harry Marion - a long time employee of Diamond Match.
