“The company at Chomu in 1896. [back row L to R] Mr. Triall, The [?] Kamdar manager, Thakur Gobind Singh Chief of Chomu [Chomun], [front row L to R] The Son and by adoption heir of Chomu [Chomun] (now chief), Mr. James Steel, Glasgow and Loudon, Rawalji Fatah Singh Chief of [?] cousin of Chomu [Chomun], Dr. Whitehouse also dead, a feudal inferior of the House of [?].” Group portrait several members of a company. John Traill, ordained 1869, came to Jaipur with his wife in 1872. ❧ United Free Church of Scotland photographs from the Rajputana mission.
