The street emerges from the foreground on the left into the distance with a thin sets of tracks running down the right side. Down the street horses pull carriages on the left side and what appears to be a trolley car rides on the tracks on the right. The street is lined with brick lanes filled carriages and horses and people walk the sidewalks. Tall buildings with awnings extending from their upper windows can be seen on the left while shorter buildings with large, cloth awnings stand on the right. A seven-story building stands out down the street on the right with a thin pole on its roof.
