Description
The 60 second version of this campaign ad (part 1) begins with an unidentified audience member asking Reagan, at the podium, what Reagan would do to reduce the persistent 8 percent unemployment. Reagan replies the elimination of inflation is the only answer. In the 30 second version (part 2), an audience member identifies himself and asks Reagan for his plan for full employment. Reagan replies that ending deficit spending and balancing the budget is the answer. These television commercials for the 1976 Ronald Reagan presidential campaign aired around January 22, 1976.
