The buildings on the left are the University Professional Building, the Janss Investment Corp. (with the dome), and the Citizens National Trust & Savings Bank. On the right there are stores, including Atlantic & Pacific Good Market, Safeway Stores, and Ralphs. Writing in white on the right reads "Photo By ; C.C. Pierce & Co. ; 1572 W.
