Detleff Sammann's frieze "The American Indian from the landing of the Pilgrims to the present day" runs around the upper portion of the walls. Framed paintings include (from left to right) Henry Raschen's "Crow war party", Grace Carpenter Hudson unidentified work, Frederic Remington's "Last lull in the fight", two more unidentified Hudson works, and Edwin W. Deming's "Hunt".
