Heavy wood case, painted green, with two connectors on the top of the lid. Inside, connected to the lid, are a series of heavy metal plates, which would have sat in an oil bath. A small glass window on the lid allows the user to see inside the box while the oil is hot. Interior of box is lined with sheet metal. Part of an experimental wireless spark transmitter, designed and built by Leon A. Bartholomew, 6LC, at 937 West 81st Street, Los Angeles, in 1921. Total load at full power 5000 watts. Thru 30 amp fuses - at 120~240 volts."
