Description
Photograph of a fishing club member preparing to cut a pig, ca.1910-1920. In the center, a middle-aged man can be seen wearing a top hat. He is holding a butcher's knife, while touching the rear end of a small pig's corpse with the other hand the pig can be seen on a wooden counter with other kitchen utensils. The counter serves to support a wooden awning visible above the man. A small box is noticeable on the ground, behind the man, with a lettering that reads "Creel Club Oil This side up." (CHS-42513 and CHS-42514 show different individuals at the same location of this image.)
