The rider on the right sits in the saddle of a dark horse with his feet in long leather stirrups and his left hand on the horn of the saddle holding the reins. He is wearing a hat, bandana around his neck, a shirt and trousers. The second rider, at left, sits in the saddle of a light horse. He is wearing a hat, jacket, and trousers. His hands are both on the saddle horn. The rough wood dwelling with thatched or grass roof has a doorway covered with a blanket. Another blanket, a basket, and a pottery jug(?) sit on the ground near the dwelling. Rocky hills dotted with brush are visible in the background.
