"Farewell to Dr Bryson, Chuan chow [Quanzhou], 1934." Dr Edith Bryson, centre of front row was a medical missionary first in Yongchun and then in Quanzhou from 1904 to 1934. Members of staff pictured here are listed on documentation accompanying the photograph. Dr R.H. Mumford, in charge of the hospital 1933-36, is two places along from her on the right.
