Description
Photograph of an old winery viewed from the southwest at Lucky Baldwin's Santa Anita Rancho, ca.1900. Plants can be seen growing on a small hill leading up to a building obscured by bushes and a couple of palm trees. A road is visible across the foreground. The building was standing in 1957 and had been converted to a carpenter shop by the racetrack personnel. Notation directs viewer to "see letter of 6/7/57 to Stuart O'Melveny in Tom O'Connell's file."
