Description
Laurie Keiko Sakatani, Sansei, was born after WW2 at the Japanese Hospital in Boyle Heights. Her grandfather, Yutaro, settled in Monrovia near 1907 and raised strawberries and other fruits along Huntington Drive. Keiko is from Monrovia's Class of 1964 and returned to Monrovia for retirement.
