Description
Paul Piersall, Pepperdine University music director, leads carolers during the first annual tree lighting ceremony on the Malibu campus. The tree, named "Christmas in America," was a 25 foot Deodar Cedar donated by the Adamson family and the Malibu Optimist Club, representatives of which are among the carolers. About 200 people, including Malibu residents, attended. The tree is located near the foot of the Phillips Theme Tower.
