Description
Patrick Hasburgh discusses his novel, “Aspen Pulp.” He begins by talking about his main character: a washed-up ski instructor in Aspen who made a fortune in Hollywood and spent it on drugs and alcohol. Hasburgh discusses his life-long love for reading and his impaired hearing. He talks about his work in Hollywood and several television shows he created like “21 Jump Street.” He describes his time working as a ski instructor, and like his character, he moved from Hollywood to Aspen. He talks about the hundreds of underground tunnels and mine shafts that are below the Aspen streets. He ends the interview talking about the way he writes, and the importance of writing every day.
