Photograph dated September 15, 1949 shows Leonard V. Tunnel of 16409 Vanowen St. in Van Nuys, found guilty of beating a trapped dog to death and setting a trap without a permit from the Animal Regulation Department. Judge Walter C. Allen did not rule whether the dog was the missing German Shepherd, Vicky, who belonged to Elaine Schwertzkoff of 16361 Vanowen St.
